career before being justice of the Supreme Court:

In 1984, he passed the entrance examinations for the Judiciary and the State Prosecutor Professions.

From 1984 to 1993 he remained an active State Prosecutor and a volunteer in the Judiciary, providing services to the following courts: State Prosecutor of the Provincial Court of Alicante, State Prosecutor of the High Court of Justice in Madrid and State Prosecutor before the Constitutional Court.

In 1993, he returned to the Judiciary after having passed the specialist entrance examinations for the administrative jurisdictional order. He has served as a Magistrate-Judge in the Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of the Autonomous Region of Valencia and in the Administrative Chamber of the High Court.

Between 1996 and 2000 he was the Director General of Conscientious Objection in the Ministry of Justice.

Between 2000 and 2004 he was the Director General of Relations with the Judicial Administration in the Ministry of Justice.

From November 2005 to March 2010, Presiding Judge of the Administrative Chamber of the High Court, and Presiding Judge of the First Section of this Chamber, which is exclusively responsible for the processing of claims in matters relating to Data Protection, Environment, Rural and Marine Environment, Industry, Tourism and Commerce, and the National Energy Commission.
