Biography and career
Dineke de Groot has been a member of the judiciary since October 1990. After completing her training as a judge, she joined the Amsterdam District Court in 1996 and was also a member of the Arnhem Court of Appeal in 2009. She has worked for the Supreme Court in civil and tax law since 2012, first as counsellor and from 1 January 2018 as Vice-President. Over the years, she has combined her judicial work with work on behalf of the judicial system as a whole. Since mid-2011, Ms de Groot has been Extraordinary Professor of Jurisprudence and Conflict Resolution at VU University Amsterdam.
